MEET EXECUTIVE CHEF joEL beNNETT
Chef Joel Bennett was born and raised in our local community, where his culinary journey began at the tender age of 15. With three decades of experience under his apron, Joel Bennett has meticulously honed his craft through unwavering dedication and hard work.
In his early twenties, Joel embarked on a formative apprenticeship, laying the foundations of his craft with a focus on the rich traditions of French and Italian cuisine. His pursuit of culinary excellence led him to George Brown College,
where he further refined his skills, earning a reputation for his commitment to quality and innovation. Joel’s culinary journey has seen him work in renowned establishments such as Canoe and Peller Estates Winery, where he earned his stripes amidst the hustle and bustle of high-end kitchens.
For Joel, cooking is an art form, and the kitchen is his canvas. He believes in using fresh, quality ingredients, allowing their natural flavours to shine through. His secret to success lies in his unwavering passion for food, combined with a deep respect for the craft of cooking. With every dish he creates, Joel’s goal is to tantalize the taste buds and leave a lasting impression on every palate he touches.
